Routing groups: who copies whom
A slave copies the masters that share its routing group. Use groups to keep strategies apart.
A routing group is a name you give to accounts that belong together. A slave copies every master in its group and ignores the rest.
One strategy
Leave everything in the Default group. Your slave copies your master.
Several strategies
Give each strategy its own group.
| Account | Role | Group |
|---|---|---|
| Gold scalper | Master | Gold |
| Index swing | Master | Indices |
| 100K Challenge | Slave | Gold |
| Personal account | Slave | Indices |
The challenge account copies only the gold scalper. The personal account copies only the index trades.
One slave copying several masters
List the groups on the slave, separated by commas, for example Gold,Indices.
Changing a group
Open the account's settings, change Copier Routing Group and save. The change applies to new trades. Trades that are already open stay linked to the master that opened them.
Rules
- Group names are not case-sensitive.
- A TradingView master needs a group no other master uses.
- You only ever see and copy your own accounts. Another customer's group with the same name has nothing to do with yours.
