Latency, open trades and billing cards explained
The summary bar on Execution Latency, the floating Open trades box, and the cards on Billing.
Execution Latency: the summary bar
The bar above the copy log sums up every copy in the list.
- Avg: the average copy time.
- Min: your fastest copy.
- Max: your slowest copy.
- P95: 95 out of 100 copies were faster than this. It shows your normal worst case, leaving out rare outliers.
- High latency events: how many copies took longer than 500 ms.
Example: Avg 444 ms, Min 126 ms, Max 2543 ms, P95 889 ms means a typical copy takes under half a second, almost all take under 0.9 seconds, and one took 2.5 seconds.
One very slow copy raises Max but hardly moves P95. If P95 itself is high, slow copies are common, not rare.
Execution Latency: each row
- Execution Latency: the total time for that copy, with broker under it showing how much of that was the broker filling the order.
- Status: FAST under 300 ms, OK from 300 to 500 ms, HIGH over 500 ms.
If broker is close to the total, the wait was at the broker.
The Open trades box
The small box at the bottom right of the dashboard follows your open trades on every page.
- Floating P&L: the combined profit or loss of trades that are open right now. It moves with the market and becomes real only when the trades close.
- Equity: your combined balance plus the floating P&L.
- Balance: your combined balance, counting closed trades only.
Minimise shrinks it.
Floating P&L, equity and balance: the difference
- Balance changes only when a trade closes.
- Floating P&L is the result of trades still open.
- Equity is balance plus floating P&L.
Example: balance $10,000 with open trades at -$150 gives equity of $9,850. Close those trades and the balance becomes $9,850.
Drawdown limits at prop firms, and the drawdown guard here, are measured on equity.
Billing: Next bill
The amount and date of your next plan bill, with the lines that make it up. Add-on accounts and a dedicated IP renew on their own dates and are listed underneath with their amounts.
Billing: Add-on accounts
Each batch of add-on accounts with its size, term and status:
- Active: in use, with the date it renews.
- Waiting for payment: pay the invoice and the accounts are ready.
- Ends with a date: you cancelled the renewal, and it stops on that date.
A yellow notice appears when a renewal invoice is due, and when accounts would be paused if a batch ends.
The plan counter in the top bar
Your plan's name, a bar and used / allowed accounts. The bar fills as you use your accounts and changes colour when the plan is full. Click it to open Accounts.
The Live badge in the top bar
It pulses while the dashboard refreshes on its own. Click it to pause the refresh while you read, and click again to resume.
