Dedicated IP for prop-firm traders
An IP address used only by your accounts. Optional, and mainly for prop-firm traders.
By default your accounts trade through our server's IP address, which works for most brokers. A dedicated IP is an address used only by your accounts.
Do I need one?
Only if you trade prop-firm accounts. Many prop firms look at where trades come from and can flag accounts that share an address with other traders. A dedicated IP keeps your trading apart from other customers'.
Prop firms generally allow trading from a server. What they tend to flag is an address shared between traders, and an address that keeps changing country. Always check your own firm's rules.
Price and term
$5 per 30 days, starting the day you pay. It is billed on its own, not with your plan.
On a quarterly or yearly plan you can take the IP for the same period as your plan instead, at the monthly price times the number of months.
Getting one
- Open IP & Compliance.
- Choose the country you trade from. We give you an IP in that country, or the nearest country we have.
- Click Get a dedicated IP and pay the invoice. We hold the IP for you for 24 hours.
- It is switched on when the invoice is paid.
If none is free, tell us from the same page. We add one and email you.
Renewal
- A renewal invoice goes out 3 days before the term ends, with 2 days' grace after it.
- Cancel renewal keeps the IP until the end of its term. After that your accounts go back to the server IP.
Good to know
- Keep the same IP. Switching countries often can itself be flagged.
- It is available on paid plans, not on the free trial.
