Execution settings: reverse, slippage, delays
Reverse copying, re-copy blocking, slippage and age limits, and the optional execution variation.
You find these in a slave's Execution tab. Reverse Copying is at the top of the Lot Sizing & Risk tab.
Reverse Copying
Works on its own, with or without execution variation. The slave takes the opposite side: a buy on the master opens a sell on the slave. The stop and the target swap places, so the copy's stop sits where the master's target is.
Block Re-Copying
On by default. If you close a copy by hand on the slave, it is not opened again while the master trade stays open.
Max Allowed Slippage (Pips)
How far the price may have moved from the master's entry for the copy to still be placed. Default 10 pips.
Max Signal Age (Seconds)
A copy that could not be placed within this time is skipped. It stops an old trade opening late at a very different price. Default 15 seconds. Skipped trades show in Execution Errors as "Signal too old".
Slippage Wait Retry (Seconds)
How long the copier keeps trying when the price is outside your slippage limit, before giving up.
Magic Number
The number attached to trades the copier places on MT5 and MT4. Leave it unless you run other EAs on the same account and need to tell their trades apart.
Execution variation
Optional. When switched on:
- Min Delay and Max Delay add a random wait, in milliseconds, before each copy is placed.
- SL Offset and TP Offset shift the stop and target by a few points.
The wait adds to your copy time on purpose. Leave it off if you want the fastest copies. Check your broker's or account provider's rules on copy trading before you use the copier; you are responsible for following them.
