My account shows offline
The usual causes are a changed password, a wrong server name or an expired account.
An account shows Offline when the copier cannot sign in to it.
Check these
- Password changed? If you changed the trading password at your broker, edit the account in LucianAlgo and enter the new one.
- Server name exact? For MT5 and MT4 it must match the name on your broker's sign-in screen exactly.
- Trading password, not investor password. The investor password cannot trade.
- Account still active? Demo accounts expire. Prop firms close accounts that fail or pass a stage and give you a new one with a new number.
- Broker maintenance or weekend. Some brokers disconnect when the market is closed. The account reconnects by itself.
- cTrader: if you removed the copier's access or changed your cTrader ID password, connect again.
- Your own terminal: accounts that run in the EA or NinjaTrader on your computer are offline whenever that program is closed.
Try this
- Click Refresh on the account's row.
- Open the account's settings and save them again. This restarts the connection.
- If you see "Sign-in failed" in Execution Errors, re-enter the password and server.
"isn't set up on our servers yet"
You see this when you add an MT5 account at a broker nobody has used on our servers before. Our team is told straight away and sets the broker up, usually within a few hours. Your account then connects by itself: you don't need to add it again.
New accounts
A newly added account can take up to a minute to show Online, and a little longer the first time while its history loads.
