3. The legal reasons we use it
- To provide the service you asked for (our contract with you): your account, connected trading accounts, copying, dashboard and billing.
- To keep the service safe and fair (our legitimate interests): security records, abuse prevention, error logs and fixing problems.
- To improve the service and support our customers (our legitimate interests): how the service is used, which customers have stopped using it, where our customers are, and help assistant conversations. You can object to this; see section 7.
- To meet legal duties: keeping invoices and accounting records.
- With your consent: publishing your review. You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. How we protect it
- Passwords for LucianAlgo are stored only as one-way hashes. Broker passwords and platform tokens are stored encrypted, and are only decrypted on our server to sign in to your accounts.
- Signing in needs a code sent to your email. The site only works over HTTPS.
- Each customer's trading accounts run in their own processes and folders, and other customers can't see your accounts or trades.
- Account numbers are masked in our admin views, and only our administrators can open your account to support you.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach puts your information at risk, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
5. Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for advertising. We share only what's needed with:
- Your brokers and trading platforms (MetaTrader brokers, Spotware cTrader, TradeLocker, Match-Trade, Tradovate): to sign in to your accounts and place your trades.
- TradingView: only the alerts you choose to send us. We don't receive anything else from your TradingView account.
- Google: sign-in when you use Google, our email (sign-in codes, activation and reset links, invoices) and the fonts used on our pages.
- An AI service provider: the questions you ask the help assistant, so it can answer them. Don't include passwords or other secrets in your questions.
- Webshare: our proxy provider. When you have a dedicated IP, your accounts' connections to your brokers go through an address from Webshare.
- Our server provider: the cloud server the service runs on.
- Authorities: if the law requires it, or to protect our customers or service from fraud or harm.
How you use the service and your approximate location stay on our server: we don't share them with anyone.
These providers may be in other countries than yours. Where the law requires it, we make sure your information is protected when it is transferred.
6. How long we keep it
- Your account, settings and trading data: while you have a plan or free trial. Trade history is kept so your analytics stay complete.
- When your plan or free trial ends: we stop running your trading accounts when a free trial ends (once any open trades have closed) or 7 days after a paid plan ends, and delete your account, connected-account details, trading data and settings 30 days after a free trial ends, or 90 days after a paid plan ends. We email you a week before we delete anything; choosing a plan before then keeps everything.
- After you ask us to delete your account: we delete your account, connected-account details, trading data and settings within 30 days.
- Invoices and payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after your account is deleted.
- Security and activity records: up to 12 months, unless we need them longer to investigate abuse.
- How you use the service: the pages and settings you used, up to 6 months; the days you were active and your approximate location, while your account is open.
- Help assistant conversations: up to 12 months.
- Contact-form messages: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.
- After your account is deleted, we keep only: a record that we deleted it (your email and the date); your deletion request, if you made one; and, if you had a free trial, the email and trading account numbers you used for it, so the same accounts can't start another free trial.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under Zambia's Data Protection Act and the EU and UK GDPR, you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your information (you can also download your trade history yourself with Export CSV, under Trade history on the Trade Monitor tab);
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your account and information, using Account settings > Your data > Delete my account and data in the dashboard (open Account settings from your initials at the top right), or by email;
- stop or limit some uses of your information, or object to them, including how we record your use of the service;
- withdraw consent you gave, such as for publishing a review.
Email lucianalgorithm@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm who you are. You can also complain to your data protection authority: in Zambia, the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
8. Children
LucianAlgo is only for people aged 18 or over. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll show the new version in the dashboard and ask you to accept it. The version and date are at the top of this page.
