How it works

Connect your futures accounts
Tradovate: sign in and allow access. TopstepX: your username and an API key. NinjaTrader 8: our add-on, with a connection key.
Pick your master
A NinjaTrader 8 account, a forex or CFD account, or your TradingView alerts.
Trades become contracts
Whole lots become standard contracts and smaller sizes become micros: 1 lot of NAS100 is 1 NQ, and 0.3 lots is 3 MNQ.

What you get

Contracts mapped for you

US500 to ES or MES, NAS100 to NQ or MNQ, XAUUSD to GC or MGC. Futures trades map back to index CFDs.

Contract months handled

The current contract month is picked for you, like ESZ6.

Cap the size

Use each slave's maximum lot to cap the number of contracts.

NinjaTrader 8 master or slave

The LucianAlgo add-on runs inside NinjaTrader and sends each trade the moment it happens.

Stops and targets

On TopstepX, turn on Auto OCO Brackets to copy stop loss and take profit.

Your own symbol pairs

Add custom mappings for any instrument we don't match automatically.

Questions

Are futures in the free trial?

Yes. The 7-day trial includes Tradovate, NinjaTrader 8 and TopstepX, as well as MT5, MT4, cTrader, TradeLocker, Match-Trader and DXtrade, with 1 master and 2 slaves. No card is needed.

Does NinjaTrader need to stay open?

Yes. NinjaTrader accounts copy through our add-on, which runs inside NinjaTrader on your computer, so keep it open while you trade.

Can I copy MT5 trades to Tradovate?

Yes. Index and gold trades are translated to the matching futures contract, standard or micro.

Does TopstepX charge for API access?

Yes, TopstepX charges separately for API access. You create the API key in TopstepX under Settings > API.
